Mad Men Season 6 (Begins April 7, 2013) - Page 29

the only thing that would have made that ending scene better would be peter chocking to death on that joint.

best part of the episode though was roger getting punched in the balls.

Stitch is to nuance and subtext what Obama is to rugged individualism.

i realized that as i was typing it. and really realized it when i read the url of the link in your post. but alas, it was too late. i was in the zone.

Lol, I'd not worry about it.

I'm not sure if some of us are starting to confuse Mad Men with The Prisoner, or perhaps John Dies at the End.

Don's druggie visions are about his guilt over cheating on Megan, her miscarriage, his appropriation of Donald and killing off Dick, his brother's suicide, etc.

I hope that Pete turns on, tunes in, and drops out. It really would capture the times perfectly.

Hmm, Don told Dawn to "call my wife" near the end of the episode. Nothing happened after that.

You see Megan in the "On the next episode of Mad Men..." segment after the credits

Roger specifically called out the fact that they returned directly to the office from LA without stopping home first.

Its still kind of a far fetched theory though...

ESQ: Are drug scenes fun to shoot? Obviously you're not sitting around doing drugs, but you get to act loopy and goofy.

JP: Definitely that kind of performance where you let your self go to that kind of state, you start to feel it a little bit. Which is fun. That scene, I'm also playing a figment of his imagination, basically. I actually wasn't playing Megan; I was playing Don. Don's desire of what she would be. He wants all of her. He wants her to be entirely his. He wants a family, he wants a baby, he wants to start over, that closeness, that intimacy again. For me, it breaks my heart.

that is exactly what i said. smile.gif

it would be neat to see don turn into a reliable, faithful, family man.

Don's wants are not known to be reliable in the long term.
