How did the flashbacks tie into the current story? Don is being very reckless with his affair. It's different from when he would cheat on Betty. I'm guessing the last scene where Don is about to go into his apt but sits on the floor is when the misscarage hits him, delayed because when Megan first told him he was just relieved it wasn't about the affair. That said, they were playing music of a man saying "Im a gigallo, people know the part I'm playing.... Every night some heart betrayed."
