I agree. I think with good writers that it could make for a very interesting story, even if much of it would end up being fictional.

As I've posted before Weiner has already said the series finale will take place in current time with Don in his 80s looking back on things.

I predict Pete and Don going mano-e-mano in a cage-of-death match.

honestly, id love that. i hope they show the full arc of his life up to that point in time. work, family.... the whole 9. i d like to see how the whole thing plays out acc to weiner.

He ends up teaching chemistry in an Albuquerque high school and then becomes a meth kingpin to fund his cancer treatment. I'm fairly certain about this.
