Thank you for the positive comments. I agree the suits need a pressing. Also FYI, the price charged was HK$5,900 for each two piece, fully canvassed suit, including material.

Drape or not drape could be a personal choice,
but quiet surprised by many not observing the point of lapel pulling .........
overall nice fit and with this time spam no one can complain much really
Michael maybe afraid in future to accept orders for such short time frame. 3 days to complete 2 full canvass suits for first order for a difficult body shape. Half more day for alternation if necessary. I believe he is crazy .
^^^ Who would have thought the HK tailoring world was so full of intrigue? There's a movie in this maybe: "The Bourne Commission", followed by its inevitable sequel "The Bourne Alteration".
Regarding the lapel pulling: sharp eyes have found the only quibble I have with the new suits. Some of it is the hastily posed picture: I think I was drawing in my breath. Below are a few more shots that show the pulling is much less prominent:
That said, there is a touch of lapel pull on both suits, principally on the right lapel. Manipulating the jacket, its seems caused by the lapel button being placed 1cm too low for the buttonhole, which bunches up the right lapel when buttoned. If I move this button up a little, it flattens out the lapel. I think this miss is forgivable, as I declined alterations after the second fitting, and its seems a small matter to fix. I will wear the suits a while then see if that alteration makes sense.
But I am interested in the inter-relation of my shape, button stance, drape and the lapel fit. I have a prominent chest and the button stance on these suits is higher than I usually take them. Also, the material is pretty light. It seems to my inexpert eye that this combination is likely to lead to some pull in the lapels. Is that right? If so, is the answer on future commissions to lower the button stance or maybe add more drape to the chest? Possibly this inquiry belongs on another thread, but I would be grateful for informed views.
Also, below is a more legible and current contact for Team Michael/Ng Sifu:
