For those waiting, here is the selfie. I must say it is very diffcult to take a good picture of a 240 gram fabric.

Congratulations, you have extremely
refined taste in clothes and an ability to direct your tailor to meet your intentions.

Thanks for your kind words.

In real life, the suit looks more relaxed and 'Italian'.

@chobo you never seen their waistcoat?

I have collected another 2 pieces of 3pc suiting today, again I am very pleased with my venture with this new man so far.

Both suits are in ultra-light weight 240 grams cloth. The darker one in Dormeuil and the lighter one in Fintex.

The construction is very lightweight and the cut is more 'modern' then my usual tailor.

Enjoy

So how did it go finally with YWY? My first suit wasn't too hot- fell for the short jacket length and surprisingly, it had a low crotch, which one realizes only after wearing the finished product a few days- very uncomfortable. Overall not bad but had better potential. So I returned for a second time and had my first fitting today. I have come to the conclusion that Marco and Andy really don't get it when you want to move them away from their standard (short) jacket length and crotch. So I was lucky to have the actual tailors around and they immediately saw the problems. Have the second fitting in a week. Let's see.

@add911_11 which two pieces of the three piece suit have you collected?  From the pictures, its appears it may be the jacket and waist coat, correct?  I love the back of your new jacket, its very smooth.  It looks like you're on a sartorial roll, man.  Recently, you're received some very nice quality garments.  Congratulations and well done. P.S. your trousers could do with shortening a tad, as pictures show trouser breaks in the rear calf area.  Assuming they were properly hitched up when the pictures were taken, of course.

Actually both piece features a waistcoat in the same design.

Some pictures are done with braces and some are not. Therefor you may see the trouser problem.

In fact, stay in touch next week as there are some weekend wear coming.

I was wandering after getting a burger (Butcher's club burgers) and came across a nondescript shirt shop at one street corner (I say shop but it's just a hole in the wall really). I decided to test with a couple of shirts @ 280HKD in blue and in pink; I asked for a double button spread collar and two button barrel cuffs. Came out pretty well, workmanship isn't anything to shout out about and the cuffs are a smidgeon too large (perhaps he thinks I wear watches) but otherwise damn good value.

Interesting, possible to share the exact address? also could you comment on the fabric after first wash? besides i am also interested checking out Butchers smile.gif

Ah sorry, it's Sun May. I don't have the actual address, you could probably google it. Material is nothing spectular, the pink one felt a bit synthetic when I got it but after a wash has become less so.
