Getting rid of wrinkles on blanket-cover?

I have a white cotton cover for my blanket/duvet/comforter, and whenever I machine wash and dry it, it comes out wrinkled as hell. How do you guys wash/dry your sheets so they're not wrinkled? I don't have a clothesline, so hanging it outside to dry would be a more involving solution. Thanks

My grandmother used to iron her sheets while reading Shakespeare in the Round.

If you take them out before they're completely dry and smoothe them out on the bed, most wrinkles will be gone once they're dry.

You could also steam it while laid out flat, or lightly iron with it directly on the bed (nothing inside it)

I suggest as well that you use the biggest possible commercial washer and dryer. The less crowded your comforter, the fewer wrinkles you'll have to deal with. That has been my experience, at least.

I always iron mine. It's a hassle, but it needs to be done.
