Buday Shoes - Hungarian Shoemaker - Page 5

Buy a new house! biggrin.gif My missus has already started asking me if I'm trying to build a wall of shoe boxes

Ooof. Residential real estate is my bete noir. All that money going into trees and property taxes and stuff and I could really be buying Budays with it. My wife and son are of a differing opinion. And I have yet to solve the having to pay to live somewhere conundrum. But no new houses. That I can assure you with some confidence. smile.gif

Edit: I have actually done away with the vast majority of my shoe boxes. I have enough already that I collect. Packaging was a step too far.

Yeah, I forget you guys have to pay every year just to own stuff!

I like boxes frown.gif

Yes. Property taxes make very little sense. Chalk up another win for the USA.

+1 to that - nice choice.

Thanks for the "live" shots guys, the shoes look great like that and your pics give a great look at the shapes. I love the Budapesters, I dress casually most days and wear that shoe more than any other but the derby is on my favorite last and I love it because its the perfect shoe to dress up/down. The tobacco cordovan is also so rich and chocolate milky.

Many thanks, gentlemen.  I, too, am delighted with my choice - and would recommend these shoes to anyone.

too big as in even with an insert they don't fit? Have you worn them outside? You can always return them and we can get you a 7.5.
Glad you like them and that they are working out for you.
I liked the buffalo alot, ordered these in a buffalo and dark brown suede combo to see how they look.

Saw these on the Buday site - did you get them yet? Any pics?

Those are some really impressive boots.

I like these as well:

And I like the beige color and texture of the shaft on these:

GMTO?

That would be pretty hilarious. Considering all of the options I think it is a statistically vanishing probability that we'd ever settled on one makeup.

@edmorel What's the ballpark pricing on the boots?
the samples on the fall/winter boots and shoes should arrive in the next 2-3 weeks.

No need for a GMTO, I would take whatever number of different orders on the same shoe/boot, no upcharge. The bottom boot will be part of my stock, just don't know yet what makeup I am doing. Probably a suede, maybe a cordovan, some mixed materials one. Prices will be in the $600's (leather/suede).

Wow. That's really quite reasonable. fing02[1].gif

GMTO was definitely an attempt at humor. It was so easy getting exactly what I wanted ordering a one-off shoe from you, there's clearly no need. Thanks for clarifying though.

well, when I say "$600's" I probably mean $699 smile.gif

$699.99.

Still a good price for boots of this quality.
