Buday Shoes - Hungarian Shoemaker - Page 27

Hi,

I am late to this party but just got my first pair.  Fantastic boots, nicest pairs of boots/ shoes I have ever owned!!!  Also, want to thank Ed Morel for fantastic customer service.  He makes buying easy.....  too easy!!!  Highly recommend buying from Ed.  One of the best!!!!!  I realize most of you already know this so it is more for the people that have not yet bought from Ed and are thinking about taking the plunge.

Quick post now and some more thoughts later:

@edmorel was absolutely stellar to work with. He took special care to get me in the right size and to make sure that I received shoes to my specs.

Extremely pleased with these right out of the box.

They'll certainly catch the eye!!

I have a hard time picking shoes that aren't multiple colors... Seems like the Austro-Hungarian makers are here to help me. smile.gif

Been wearing these a bit recently. Need to post a photo. Though I'd say they still look about as good as new.

While I was training at the Cordwainers college in the eighties, I got a Footwear Student friend there to make me some Oxblood and blue suede shoes - they were fantastic and wish I still had them. These reminded me of them a bit - happy days!

I wonder if anybody has any experience dealing with Demarti Gmbh (which is selling Buday shoes) and would be willing to share it.

No experience other than them taking my pics without asking for the whiskey cordovan boot.

Ed did you ever sell those boots? They are beauties and at a great price.

I bought the Budapester version, then these became available a few weeks later. I almost bought them also. Spectacular shoes and boots, they should get more attention, meanwhile they can be our secret!
