How do you stop your jeans from riding up your butt crack? (levi's 511)

Thread Starter

I bought a pair of new jeans (511 skinny by levi's). Initially I bought a size 30 but then I decided to exchange them for a smaller size 29 since they were a little loose around my thigh and leg area.

So I get home, try on the jeans and they fit nicely around the waist, thigh, and leg area.. but one problem. I find that the jean folds into the gap between my buttocks, which kind of looks like I'm giving myself a wedgie. I'm wearing the jeans as low as I can, below my hip bone but I'm still getting this problem. Do I just have a huge butt?

I never really noticed this problem before with the bigger sized ones. Anyone have any ideas how I can get rid of this problem, or will my jeans stretch and contour my body as I wear them more?

EDIT: holy crap this happens with all my jeans, baggy or skinny. No idea why I didn't notice until now.. is this normal ?

this needs a tailor to remedy that. the angle of the center back seam needs to be changed.
go to the classic menswear forum.
at the top of the page is a listing for tutorials, click on it.
scroll down the tutorials and click on,"uncomfortable trouser butt".
that should explain it.
