Shrinking denim jeans?

I purchased a pair of Lucky Brand jeans in regular length, 100% cotton. Their regular length jeans are 32.5". They are about .25-.50" too long. Will they shrink if I wash in warm water and dry on light to medium setting? The waist and everything else is fine.

I wouldn't wash denim. Ever. If, however, you dicide to wash, DO NOT PUT IN DRYER!
Well if everything else in sizing is fine why risk shrinking them to the point of no return?
Get em' hemmed by a tailor lad. Should only set you back about $20.

yes, they will shrink, but everywhere. that means they'll be a little snug everywhere too, though within 3-5 wearings they'll stretch where needed although the length will shorten by at least that 0.5inches, maybe even a little more.

Well, I was brave and just completed a warm wash and medium dry. They did get a little snug everywhere, but they'll stretch after some wearing as you mentioned. The length is right on now. Wew!
