New member here, hello all!
to being with, I'm 22, around 5'11", weigh roughly 187 with more muscle tone than a normal person that size, and a taller top half than legs and naturally keep a shaved head.
i usually wear slim bootcut/slim straight jeans with v necks, baseball raglan tees, and short sleeve Henley type shirts.
well I recently had a suit purchased for me for my grandfathers funeral, and enjoyed the look it gave me. The "Bond" feel was very nice haha. It led me to also wanting to try out new things including vests, sports coats, slimmer fit dress shirts, and ties.
well I went to Express and H&M tonight to try on a few of those, and everything just seemed to clash with my slim straight jeans and Vans lo pro shoes, even though everything fit fine.
it might've been the mirrors, or simply my mind telling me it looked bad even though my girlfriend kept insisting everything fit fine and looked good.
i know shoes play a big role, but even if I had had on some nice dress shoes, I fee like the look still would've been "off".
i still want to try to dress more sophisticated, but not if it doesn't look like I fit the style. That'd be a terrible waste of money!
heres a pic of Joseph Gordon levitt that I just think looks great style-wise, but I have no clue how to achieve it and look "together".
any tips would be great!
