Wondering the same thing about the color of the Sundance Riptide.

Or these? Seems shady that these and the ones I posted above are more than 100$ cheaper than other places.

I can't find a physical address anywhere on that site. I'd avoid.

I'm guessing these are Chippewa boots. Can anyone help me with the model and color if they are ? I can not find where I got this picture so I'm lost on the details. Thanks

Are you sure those aren't Redwing?

No, I'm not sure at all. I don't think I've ever seen any Red Wings like that but you could be right. I was really just going off the sole more than anything and I thought they looked similar to some of the Chippewa boots. Do you know which Red Wing model you think they are ? Thanks

I wondered about 2962/3 the round toe http://www.redwingheritage.com/boots/#&f=&m=/detail/2962-heritage-us/2962-red-wing-heritage-mens-round-toe-boot-brown

Yeah that looks like it.  The contrasting stitching and the sole.  It looked at first like a hybrid of the Beckman upper with a Iron Ranger sole, but I had not seen this new round toe boot before.

In other news, for anyone interested there are some Chippewas on Ruzeshoes.com, including the harder to find black Homestead and cordovan toecap Homestead.

I ordered a pair of the black, which should arrive today or tomorrow.

Thank you very much. I remember now looking at them now. I'm stuck between Chippewa Service Boot, RW 2962 and Buttero High Desert Boot. Decisions decisions.

Attaching here a pic of the black captoe Homestead boot, next to my old (13 years or so) engineer boots.  They are the same size and width as marked, but the newer ones are significantly more narrow, and don't quite work for me.  Otherwise they seem like pretty good boots, but the leather is nothing special (unlike the Sundance leather, which I saw a guy wearing recently and really liked).

I just wanted to make sure I'm getting this service boot sizing stuff right. Does half a size down from dress shoe size sound right, if I don't intend to wear thick socks? Thanks!

I wear the same size as my dress shoe size. But I'd try both sizes to be sure...

I bought a pair of Renegade Service boots a little while back after coming across this thread:

Mid-Obenauf's treatment on the left, as they came on the right.

Post-Obenauf's

I had my local cobbler add the speed hooks.
