Just a short message to present our webstore, started 3 years ago.

We offer a selection of the best socks we have found in the world. What we understand by "best" depends on quality and story of the brands. We started with a very small brand called Gammarelli, which is the Pope's tailor in Roma. We are the world exclusive retailer of their socks. We have knee high socks from them, made of the best cotton. There are available in 3 colors : red (cardinal), purple (bishop) and black (priest). We also have white socks from Roma in very small quantity.

We also offer Mazarin Grand Faiseur. The brand's goal was to propose socks for the Academie Francaise, with a very special green we call Vert academie, matching the color of their embroided uniform. It is the best french socks brands, with many colors, many material (wool, cashmere, pure silk...). The brands is fantastic.

The other brands are Bresciani and Gallo

that some of you might know. We have selected the best pattern. As with the other brand, we have the best prices you can find on internet.

We also wanted to offer special material ! We found Yak wool, Camel hair, alpaca hair and plan to have more for next winter !

We pay great attention to the relation we have with our customers, through handwritten cards with each order.

We sell worldwide and we have several shipping method, from the cheapest (6€-$8 to the USA) with standard rate mail, to Express UPS. VAT is automatically removed on our website.

We use UK sizing on the website, so if you are not sure which size you need, just ask us so that we can help you to get the perfect size !

In fact, we try to keep our prices as low as possible for all our product as for the shipping fees. Please note that there is no VAT billed on our website for the US.

Good question. Gammarelli is not the only "sartoria per ecclesiastici" in Roma and in the world. In fact, the Pope recieves many gifts from various makers. But Gammarelli is definitly the most emblematic taillors for Popes in the last 200 years.

We also have just developed skiing socks. We wanted the socks to be made with the best yarns and to be technical. We have choosen mohair wool (soft & warm). We have developed this product during 2 years with ski competitors. This is the result :

1 : Breathable knit

2 : Thicker reinforcement

3 : Elastic strip to maintain the socks
