Size 7.5, i treated these like Aldens; lots of brushing and saphir reno, they have waxed black laces that I took off Red Wing GTs. I'll throw in the horsehair brush I used.

Are these as dark as they are in the photos?

Tempting but they look almost as dark as my 8138s (mink-oiled twice).
