Yes I am new here and I certainly plan on being a contributing member of the community. I just recently went through a phase where I tossed my whole dress wardrobe out and spent quite a bit of money updating it with high end shirts, trousers, suits and shoes.
Im 27 and I like to call myself Conservative modern in terms of how I dress. I like to stand out but not be so loud that it screams attention. That might go against the point of this post to some of you who would consider navy shoes themselves to be anything but conservative.
Anyways on to my question - In my recent spree, I was able to snag a pair of Harris Wingtips from barneys at a great price. 279 marked down from 595. They are a great pair of shoes but are a Greenish Navy in color. I purchased them before I really had anything to wear them with because I couldnt pass up the deal on such a different looking shoe.
My question is, what color suit or trousers would you wear them with??? Light Grey? Charcoal Grey? Black? I fear because i am fairly newer to dressing with more style that my eye cant quite pick up which actually looks good with it, and your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
