used suit? if so he could have had it altered. As for the shoulder measurements I've seen Brioni in 38R go from 17.5-18.5

No, it's new with tags on eBay. Seemed off to me. My brioni items are a different line though

Forget the label sizing and determine if the measurements work for you. And yes, those are small for a 38s. They're on the smaller side of 36.

Definitely more of a 36S than a 38S. The jacket waist measurement seems large compared to the chest, though, so I would definitely check with the seller that he knows what he's doing when measuring. Also, I just looked up the actual eBay listing, and there is no trouser waist measurement, so check it's not a mismatched suit. IIRC, though it's a long while since I looked, Brioni typically has a drop of 6, so the trousers should have a 32" waist if this is a 38 and a 30" waist if it's a mislabelled 36S.

The label & suit both look legit though, despite the measurements being a bit off. The seller's photography/display/sales blurb could all use some finessing, but whatever...

Thank you. Seller is looking into it. I size down to a 38s in the isaia base s so I'm thinking this might fit (normally 40s in zegna milano). We shall see...seller has a decent return policy.

Measurements were off as I expected. I want to pull the trigger but I'm concerned about the rise (which is apparently 10.5). It also looks a little higher to me. Don't want my short ass to look all frumpy with high rise + single pleat + my 30-31" waist. Not exactly sure about how this model fits. Here's the link if you have ideas (as compared to base S isaia, milano).
