I thought I would match the other side of the drinking question with what are you eating right now. I’ll inevitably go first: 6” baguette sandwich / sub with Swiss cheese, tomato and basil The whole things was handmade on the spot Made by the best family-owned and run French bakery in South Florida. (and yes I know its Passover…, but A) I don’t keep kosher anyways and B) I just had a crown put in and they specifically said no hard foods) Jon.

A peanut butter sandwich. Just wheat bread and chunky natural PB. No jam -- ever.

Emerald makes a series of trail-mixes that are quite good.
I'm snacking on the "Breakfast" mix right now.

You can't go wrong with any of them.

today i had a very "noh moo maht shi su ji gae"
mmm.
soybean base with a "nah mool " that is cooked until so soft and a flank steak inside it to give it a beef broth.

and a 'noh moo maht shi su pop"

mmm. pop.

hehehe. just joking around. i just did that to try to make it sound exotic, but it is not:
noh moo maht shi su ji gae = very tasty soup
nah mool = veggie
noh moo maht shi su pop = very tasty rice

at least that's what i think is the correct phonetical english spelling

I picked up something from the hospital canteen. I usually have the roast meats with rice but I thought I'd try something else today - Shanghai fried dough (inspired by diorshoe - 'sheung hoi neen go'). The 'dough' is a chewy rice (I think) cake that is sliced and cooked pretty much like noodles except that each piece is an oval disc about 3-4mm thick and 4-3cm in size. It was cooked with shitake mushrooms, sliced meat, onions and cabbage, with soya sauce as the seasoning base. Not the best I've had by a long shot, but a change from my usual.

For lunch today I had take-out from a new Korean place near my office. Grilled chicken, rice, kimchee, soup. It was excellent!

Had a couple of rolls when I got in from work... bread ones... with prawns and whatever that sauce is you get in prawn cocktails. Very nice.... but got the urge for a curry

Three hard shell (and 1 soft) tacos w/ meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and salsa.
Turkey, cheddar, lettuce on rye.
Lots of water
Glass of apple juice
