Sappy dog story coming up..

When I was a kid my mother used to always tell me of her dog that loved her so much he died. Her brothers were teasing her one day and her dog saw this as an attack went up to them and accidentally bit my mother, the dog saw her crying and for days after would absolutely not have anything to eat or drink, just refused it and sat in a corner. The dog ran away and was found some days later dead. I think he is still buried in the backyard of the house we had in Cuba. It is crazy how these animals form a bond with you.I was born on Sept 28 and my first dog was also born that day, I loved that guy, looking back I was an awful kid pulling on his ears trying to ride him and he never once even raised his paw at me. When I immigrated I could not bring him and being 7 years old that was a bad experience compounded by the fact that he was run over by a truck a couple years later before my family had the money to bring him to the US and I have not had a dog since. I have thought long and wisely and I think I am finally ready so I have been looking at dogs and found this guy who could possibly be the "Jimmy" I once had as a boy. He's a German Shepherd

His name was Porter. I've never had a bond with another living soul as strong as what I had with him....I am a better person for it

This thread is cool and all, but where are the dogs in steezy clothes? AKA SW&D Dog WAYWT

I want to see Rick'd out Bulldogs, Denimbro Beagles, Junya Watanabe Shiba Inus, Saint James wearing French Bulldogs, White Mountaineering Huskies, Givenchy Rottweilers, RRL Pit Bulls, Jil Sander German Shepherds, Corgis in Cabourn, etc etc.
