I love dogs. Aside from their loyalty and kid-like goofiness and all that, I also love that they have no self-pity. You see a dog with three legs or disabled hind legs and as long as it's healthy it's just as happy as any other dog. Never acts like it's less able in any way. Gotta love that.

Sadly had to put her down over winter break, but she stuck with us long enough to celebrate her bark mitzvah this past November.

What dog is this? Looks like a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix I used to have. Is it a pup?

Good question...he showed up on my friends farm last year and we took him. That photo was taken a couple months after we brought him home and I'd put him at maybe 6 months old then...he didn't get much bigger and weighs about 45 pounds. I think he's dobberman /sheppard and possibly some vislza, the last which would explain his high energy spazz factor.

Come on SW&D. I haven't seen a single undyed leather dog collar or leash yet! These dogs lack steeze!!
