There's a definite evolution on this forum (and, really, with any other hobby):
1. See something (outside forum)
2. Become interested
3. Look for/ask people who you think know what they're talking about (join forum)
4. Begin learning for yourself
5. Formulate your own opinions
6. Defend your own opinions
7. Opinion becomes law for those in step 3
8. Boredom/disinterest (leave forum)
The above cycle can take months or years, depending on level of interest and the luxury of time and disposable income. For some they'll realize "Okay, I just need X, Y, Z" and they go out and buy it or have it made. However, make no mistake, to even approach "having enough," you need to go some iteration of the above evolution (assuming you actually care at all).
There are very few people in the 8th step that are still on the forum. They either graduate from the i-Gent circle or begin shifting their attention elsewhere. Personally, I decided to learn about clothes with the full intention of acting on my education down the road, when I have the money and/or the job to truly embrace what I've learned.
So, for me, "having enough" is less about tangible items and more about gaining insight and understanding. And to that end, there is certainly a point when I'll reach the "enough is enough" point. I'm likely not that far.
