The weightlifting must be working then!

Bear in mind the fact that the jacket, though much less puffy than the regular Alpha MA-1, is still quite padded, particularly in the arms. This jacket definitely makes me look bigger than I am.

Also, the maharishi ma-1 doesn't look to bad

that's not the current iteration from the looks of it. no elastic bottom, silver zipper. current version is not as nice.

ah, that kinda makes sense, since the aforementioned ma-1 is on sale @ oki.

still sexy as though.

the h&m olive one I may cop. are you saying the current h&m ma-1s aren't as nice? they changed drastically?

That looks good but it is a little too long in the sleeve (note how the puffy part of the sleeve is hanging over the cuff). I'd get the regular length.

they're not bad for the money. really depends what you're looking for. i was looking for a budget piece and really wanted to like it, but they just look cheap - wouldn't be able to pull off a high/low fit with it. quality is pretty bad too. though someone posted one earlier that they altered that looked decent.

it fits long/narrow shouldered. might work better for you if you're lanky/skinny.

if you're a smaller guy, would highly recommend the hotel manufacture ma-1 over h&m.

Does anyone know what jacket this is? Or something similar with green body and black ribbing?

I just ordered this, it's in olive, but no black ribbing:

I haven't received it yet, I got one in S. I hope it fits nicely.

The Olive MA-1 jacket from Topman arrived yesterday.

The fit is in fact very close to how it is in the photo. There's some slouch in the body, so it's not quite as slim-fitting as I'd imagined.

It also has a bit of quilted lining, so it's not quite the warmer weather jacket that I was looking for.

I'm still deciding whether or not I'll keep it.
