MA-1 Jackets Thread - Page 2

It's basically a really thin nylon shell, like a cheap windbreaker, just in the design of an MA-1. And the zipper was really cheap which was the main reason i ended up returning it.

damn i bought the black and the green one to try on, its coming in mail on tuesday, if its as bad as you say i will be returning as well

i bought and returned this jacket (see below), its a schott for american college, jacket was overall good quality but was way too short!

So, is the MA-1 white or light gray from Uniqlo?

^Light grey. I posted a photo of me wearing the black one in the Uniqlo thread when it came out. Aside from the zippers, I really don't get the hate it gets. I'm not sure what people were expecting. Especially considering at the end of the day, it's still just a cheap nylon flight jacket.

that uniqlo one should be priced 20-30 bucks max. Honestly it feels like a plastic trash bag.

Anybody order the wool suiting ToJ? ToJ seems like the best bet in terms of fit and price point, but I'm afraid to pull the trigger because I'm not sure how wool suiting will look and feel. 

 I like bomber jackets, but Neo-Nazis all had the very same MA-1 flight jackets and that's why I wouldn't wear them

I mean, as long as you don't shave your head or start getting Swastika tattoos then you really should be fine...
