probably a large, though it looks like large is out of stock. You can try an XL for an oversized look though.

I'm 5'10" with a 40" chest, normally a medium or slim large, and the size medium was too tight in the chest, shoulders, and too short on me.

I'm 5'7 with a 20" (40" all around) chest. Since max_r's Medium MA-1 was tight, I'm wondering if I should get that in Small or Medium.

YOOX doesn't even answer measurement questions.

I definitely wouldn't get the small. I'm 6' with a 40" chest and the medium was still pretty tight in the chest and shoulders. A medium may be too small on you.

It's strange how off the measurements are; the Medium has a 21.5" chest, but looks so small in fit pics.

Timbaland, do you have any fit pics or did you end up returning it?

I returned it. It looked like I was wearing a kids jacket. Not sure where you are getting the chest measurement on the medium (maybe from Maxs review) from but the jacket probably looks smaller than the measurements because there is some heft (jacket is padded) to it.

Does anyone here size up for MA-1s? I've seen more people using it as an outer layer lately. Was thinking about getting a TOJ MA-1 in suiting wool and sizing up.

i'm looking for a black MA-1 which is as oversized as possible (overly long sleeves are a must), anybody have any leads?

XXXXXL

the proportions are bad on those, you can tell the difference between purposefully oversized & just too big.

Can anybody ID this?
