How should a parka fit? Proper length?

I just bought a parka that falls about 2" above the knee...is it too long?

The way I chose my parka was to be ready in case of long time exposure, meaning several hours, meaning covering my butt. Bomber style is fine for shorter exposures.

So as long as it covers your butt any length is fine?

You wear a parka when it's cold. Not a little cold but COLD. It's not really a fashion statement.

Being cold is uncool. If one is cold, then he pulls his shoulders together, shrinks a few inches in height, and leans forward. Rather unmasculine. So if it's cold, there is no such thing as a too long coat. smile.gif
