Boot fit and a good, safe way to stretch hard leather boots...

Just got a nice pair of leather timberland takhead boots.

The store only had one size...it's a little smaller than I would usually go.

They fit my feet pretty "perfectly" with barely any gap if I push my foot all the way up.

Is that enough space or are they too small to be healthy to wear? I honestly don't wear boots like this a lot. They feel a little tight but I have wide feet and stretching the width will be easier than the length.

How to give it a little stretch? In any or all directions.

It is very very hard leather.

Sorry for such a stupid question. Just don't know what to do..

They are the timberland takhead boots.

Thanks guys!

I mean...they're tight but pretty comfortable. They don't really hurt, but they could definitely be widened.

I just don't know if over time boots that are snug hurt your feet and if it's better to have more room in the front/back because my toe is basically touching the front of the shoe.

If I double up my socks, they are almost unbearable to wear (just tried it to maybe stretch them some more)
