I havn't compared all of them in person, but based on anecdotes, I can assure you that they are.

Allen Edmond seconds are around $200 or so. I have a pair and they look great and are very comfortable, however they only have one strap. If you can live with that IMO it's a good deal.

Are you in NYC? Last time I went to Paul Stuart, they had some double monks on clearance.
