Tm lewin suits??? - Page 2

I think it is clear from the comments that the suit is fused, but probably a very well fused suit. I guarantee that the top layer of wool is minutely thicker than say, the fabric at the arm, even though one of the posters couldn't detect it. Ernest has also noted that the lapels are canvas pad-stitched. So, overall not a bad value for $400 probably.

I have already packed the suit back up for return to TM Lewin, so I cannot check the lapels for the dimples referenced by retronotmetro. Also, I do not have the ability to post pictures. Besides, a picture of my rear end crammed into those trousers would probably violate the obsenity guidelines of this forum. I assumed it would fit after reading Ernest's description and translating his metric measurements to feet, inches and pounds. I think we are about the same size, though I am a little taller, so I expected an equally good fit. However, similar height and weight does not mean similar build. Ernest obviously avoided American football and its tendency to expand the bulk of one's rear and legs. I am sure my old coach is proud that I have gone from linebacker to complaining about the size of my rear on a men's style forum.
