Gustin is announcing limited release jeans for Kickstarter using special denim in limited quantities. Here is a link to some of the denim samples selected.

and they're all sold out before you can ever get to them. which is probably good, since i don't need multiple pairs of denim that i'm not even sure will fit me.

I really love the LVC '66 501's that Barrel proxied for me, but I decided to give these a try as well. I was actually surprised how well the LVC fit, and I think they look great, but I'd like to have a bit looser fit as an option. The LVC are perfect for an evening out, but I think the Gustin might be a little more comfortable to wear for just hanging out.

I've been watching the page for a bit. Most of the options seem to have sold out quick, but the Italian "Organic" special had a bit of a window.

I was able to switch over to the 14oz "Black" today in the 40-second window they were available. Since these will be only my second pair of real denim, I think it makes sense to have them even more distinct from the LVC. It will give me a better idea of what I want for fit and fabric for any purchases down the road.

I'm really looking forward to trying these out. (Though I do realize that a delay is likely.)

They're really starting to get annoying with all these fucking updates and completely impossible to buy denim types. Seems like there's another one every day.

I know what you mean when you said it's annoying. It's like you have to keep monitoring their website in order to jump on the limited stock of special denim. If you sneeze, go make a sandwich, grab a beer, or take a dump and come back, guess what, it's sold out! Gaaahhhh! Oh well...
