I'm disappointed. I don't see the value proposition here. The OCBD costs the same as Brooks Brothers, more if you're willing to do a multi-buy at Brooks. Plus Brooks offers specific collar and sleeve sizes. How are these better than Brooks Brothers?

I didn't have this problem with the denim, where, to me, the value proposition was clear. I felt that for my $81 I was clearly getting a superior pair of jeans.

Yea I agree with you. The jeans are a good deal but not so sure on the oxford and chambray shirts.

After your previous post, I went back to look at the photos a bit closer and felt the same way. I'm really glad you mentioned this. I measured and all of my shirts have 3" collars except one at 2.75" (same as Gustin's), and I never wear it. I like the fabric, but it's always looked awkward on me and I never could figure out why. Thanks! You saved me from a bad purchase. The hundred clams will can go towards something else.

It's a $100 for the shirt?

The chambray is. That in itself should have given me a bit more pause, but I think I wanted to like the shirt too much.

Stephen Powell : "The sample pictured is 2.75" - Josh changed the pattern to 3" without telling me!"

The angle of the photo makes it look smaller than 2.75 or 3". Would need to see a closer, straight-on shot of the collar before I order. I dislike skinny collars.

I've been chatting with Josh Gustin about the shirts and I'm going to go see them in person early next week. I'll report back with what I learn from it - I too am curious about the collar. I'll try and get some pictures too. I've seen the fabric up close and it looks great but I haven't really gotten a good look at the pattern yet.

Thanks to Steven and Ayesha for the visit today at lunch. Great people.
