Will be in Vegas for business in first week of May and looking to try some new stuff. Will be seeing a show in The Wynn and thought maybe having dinner there would be easier than catching a taxi somewhere else then another taxi back to where we're staying. Any experience with the better places inside The Wynn?

A large seafood set of options. Mrs. Piob will appreciate that. Looking good so far.

I've heard the Chinese restaurant is great, but I've never been.

Wing Lei? Would probably be a hit with Mrs. P. too as you know.

Wing Lei is okay. The food is good but it's like what you'll get at any good Chinese restaurant only 2.5 times the price.
The room is nice though.

Bartolotta is good but the seafood prices are kind of rapey. Try to get a cabana table if it's not too hot.

Wynn has a lot of places where convenience of location would have to factor into the equation before I'd go there again.
Like Mizumi, Sinatra or SW Steakhouse.

What kind of food do you and the Mrs. like? If steak try Carnevino at the Palazzo which is next door to the Wynn.

Thanks for the suggestion but the idea was to not have to leave the Wynn for dinner. If I headed over to the Venetian complex I'd just go to Bouchon. Thanks for the rec though.

Carnevino really isn't that far from the Wynn.
It's just across the ped bridge and down the stairs to the casino level.
Bouchon is on the far end of the Venetian from the Wynn.

If ll else fails go to the BUFFET at the Wynn. Can't go wrong there!

Thank you again but the goal here is not to leave the Wynn for dinner. I've been to both Batali's and Keller's places several times, know them well, and if I had to go to the Venetian complex it is not even close to what place between those two places I'd pick.

 Yeah, that's #2 on my list of possibles.

I have always had good meals at SW. Outside overlooking the lake is always nice, weather permitting. Prices are high, even relative to LV. The seafood tower is great.

We spend most of our time at City Center now (particularly the Aria and Cosmopolitan). I have not had most of the newer Wynn spots, but younger brother, who lives in LV,always speaks highly of the Wynn restaurants, especially those specializing in Asian cuisines.
