I don't really care either way, but just something to think about. Then again, maybe they are something else and I'm not cool enough to get it.

Thank you, one and all. I couldn't have done it without you, the little people.

(Though it was funnier when it still referred to our dear departed friends, the John Lobb boots.)

And bacon rocks.

I may cancel my wine tasting this morning. This thread may have more complexity and a longer finish....................................

In her phone call, she also said that someone had hacked into the company e-mail and not just messed with SF (through existing accounts, and whatever sock puppets could create the most mischief), but also sent out e-mails to unknown parties. So Chuck and Jill may have even bigger fish to fry than worrying about the nonsense on this forum.

All of this is unverified, of course, but if I do get the ties I shall assume it is more or less correct-- and do a follow-up post.

OK-- one datapoint to add to this discussion. Audrey (with whom I corresponded at her posted contacts) did indeed send what I ordered, and it arrived today. One of the ties was distinctly not too wide.
For those who care more about the product than the service, each was well worth the sale price. If you really like the patterns, worth retail.

Iammatt observed (correctly) that some of CF ties come out very wide.

CF's AAAC tie, on the other hand, and the paisley I just picked up are much more restrained in this department.
