I've got an extremely rare Band of Outsiders Peacoat from one of the first seasons that BoO put one of these bad boys out. Why is it so rare, you ask?

Well, for starters it was union made in NY. To my knowledge, Martin Greenfield used to manufacture all the suiting and outerwear for BoO, and this particular piece was from a time when BoO was really hard to come by, as it was made in much smaller batches.

It's a thicker wool than any of the newer BoO coats. It's a really thick, substantial wool, and the jacket is fully lined and insulated. I'm in Toronto, and this jacket has never failed me on a cold day.

Don't you hate it when you find a tailored BoO piece that fits great in the shoulders, but is massive in the body? Well worry no more, as this jacket has been tailored professionally to have the chest and waist taken in for a very trim, slim fit.

Brand new, this jacket retailed for north of two grand. Even on e-Bay, similar coats are selling for $600-$700, and are from newer lines that use lesser materials. There's never been another coat on Styleforum, Superfuture, or eBay from this particular season.

One small flaw to note: there is a small stain on the inside lining of the coat. I am sure a dry cleaning will take care of this handily, but I've never bothered to deal with it. See photo for more detail.

It pains to see it go, but the reality is that my toggle coat sees a lot more wear, and I'd like to fund the purchase of another jacket.

The jacket will be shipped Expedited with insurance and tracking. Price includes shipping within US or Canada.

Thanks for looking!
