Nooo! Was hoping he could remain uncorrupted!

Crompton was the most unkindest cut of all.

To show that I can do something other than hate, I posted these in another thread. I think the people involved look good - very good in each of these photos:

Not exactly the same, but close, and I know I have seen them with a straight front bottom, too.

I always defer to your knowledge of hunting clothes.

I realize now that I should have said 'classic relative to the standards of the times after the advent of color photographs.'

My only minor quibble would be the mezza calza — particularly with the suit.

On another note, I'm not hating on Pitti because without a dose of modernity, more of the storied menswear institutions we love might go the way of the dodo. Thanks to #menswear, many of them will survive to see another season.

No doubt an homage to our Afghan brethren, where the button has yet to be adopted:

Pleb detected.

In all seriousness though, I don't mind that shawl. If the colour of his suit were a little more subdued I think it would be a hit.

Not quite but they're getting warmer

I don't think Western men should wear shawls. We have rain coats and trench coats.

Nothing to do with West or East - its not like men from the East don their shawls when they plan to venture out in the rain.

It's true...Cromps looks very effeminate.

Of the two items, you find his plain navy suit to be offensive? eh.gif
