UK fred perry polos...where to buy and shrinkage?

Interested in pickin up a fred perry polo or two...

anyone know where to buy the UK made ones (if im not mistaken, they run smaller than the others ones right?)

also, do ppl know how they fit/shrink? i recently got a striped lacoste size 4 and shrunk it using a cold/warm wash and low tumble dry and it shrank to perfection

online, probably not gonna find any unless it's a mod/skin geared site that specifically tries to move UK shirts to their discerning customer base

www.sourpussclothing.com carries mostly the UK ones

as does www.warriorclothing.co.uk

stock is hit/miss at the above. I've gotten some awesome made in UK shirts and sweaters from sourpuss several years ago, but I don't think they've replenished their stock in a while

the fred perry website has the "limited" Paul Weller freds that are UK made but cost 2x more than the usual

they shrink mostly in length if you throw in dryer (you could lose as much as 2-3"), a bit in the body too. I buy em to fit, then cold wash and hang dry and they don't shrink at all

May I ask then how about their other stuff, like track jackets and knits? Is there also a "made in UK" thing?

Thanks!

How much slimmer are the made in UK polos? Are they similar to RL custom fit?

the best knits are Made in Italy. I have a bunch of sweaters that are Italian made and it's all much better than anything else from Fred Perry.

It's not that the UK polos are slimmer if you take 2 of the same size, but they start in smaller sizes (starting at 34) versus the non-UK shirts which come S-XXL. The size S in non-UK is more like a size 38 UK so if you're smaller than a 38 you're gonna swim in it

There are two different fits sold here in the US. There is a slim fit sold here as well as a baggier US fit. Is that what you are referring to or is there actually a third UK fit?
