Anyone know when the Edward Green store in Paris (Boulevard Saint Germain) is having their next sale?

^^Personal, except for the usual eBay superbuyers.

I believe, "personal" means attending the shop in person, not that the items bought
have to be for your personal use only. :D

There was a sale sign hanging at the Jermyn Street store on Saturday (22nd) and a number of models were marked down about 200 pounds. I ended up buying the Claverton for 470 pounds.

That's a great deal. Excluding VAT, the price goes down below 400.

Out of curiosity, anybody picked anything up?

Some socks :D They did not have that many 8.5's compared to previous sales, although I was not looking for shoes.

The gent at EG did say it was not as busy because some shops started their sale yesterday or before xmas - saying that, there about 4/5 other customers in the shop.

Foster had one customer when I walked pass and Cleverley had no customers.

I'm heading in tomorrow bright and early. Looking to pick up a couple pairs. How sparse were the 8.5's (UK size im assuming)? Any good models in stock?

I was there today and was surprised. Contrary to what was expressed on prior sales thread -- that the stores were choke full of jostling customers -- there was barely a soul in the few shoe shops of note. Didn't find much to buy as well.

Looks like the economy still isn't doing well, or that everybody has gotten what they wanted.

It's always surprised me how most shops on Jermyn St. are closed for the busiest shopping day of the year.
