I would actually call him an incredibly LUCKY guy.

-he got to DRIVE an ENZO
-he got to WRECK an ENZO

the number of people on this planet that can claim both is for sure in the single digits.

Haha, I saw that on the news this morning. 1.5 million down the drain.

The Enzo doesn't cost $1.5 million. Anyways, this is again, proof positive that driving school is a must to own / operate a supercar.

They will if people keep crashing them at this rate.

I think he actually deserves some respect for taking it to the track rather than making an ass of himself on public streets and putting innocent lives at risk. Still, more proof that just because you can afford that fancy sportscar doesn't mean you have the skill to handle it. Even with all the money in the world, the best track car to start out with would be something like a Miata or BMW 318, so you can make mistakes at speeds that won't wreck the car or yourself.

Yeah, it must be one of the most crashed supercars made in the last 10 years.

Don't know, that's just what they said on the news.

There might be some pricing inflation going on. The sticker on one of those things is about a half a million. But given the limited numbers of them available for sale at any given point, the price is what the market will bear. I suppose the $1.5M was how much the last one went for. The owner seems pretty level headed about it though.

The guy that crashed it wasn't even the guy that owns it. The culprit is just some B level movie actor who thought he could drive the car but found out the hard way that things aren't always as easy as they appear.

There must be structural damage to the frame for it to be "totaled" as the owner stated since the engine and many components are in the rear. I'd be happy to take the engine off their hands.

I can't imagine that it is beyond repair.

If the frame is damaged, there's really no point in repairing it.

As for the engine, someone needs to buy it and stick it in a F430.

Or a Honda Civic.

This should bring more people in to see the movie. Maybe they did it on purpose
