I would guess 50s, but this is just a guess. Any other tags, such as a union tag?

Hey Org,

Did you get anything more on this?  The coat I just posted has near-identical tags.  At the very least, figured this would serve to group them together for the thread record!

If it helps, they told me this one predated their records, which makes it pre 1940's.  Yours has a serial number on the tag so that may help.

Thanks Cap, seems like your has/had the same font on the neck tag; do you think the different color is the earlier version or just a 'different' in some other way version?  And I think you're right that mine does have the SN, but it is nearly impossible to read (one shown just above is Orgetorix's).

Where did that hunt jacket end up?

A fox hunt collector, was working on decorating a "hunt room".

More Deadstock Engineer Boots, likely 50's

Nice. Hope you set a properly ambitious price this time! smile.gif

I thought I would share these with you as I just added them to my website. Although they have no great age, I think they are unusual. Each wool tie has a different pattern on each side..4 ties in 1 smile.gif

I'd have to do a little research to confirm it but I think in this photo those are all bona fide registered Scottish Clan Tartans. In the upper left hand corner the tartan that is red and black with the yellow raker is Clan MacQueen / MacSuibhne (that's "my" family tartan) and although I can't identify the rest on sight, they look familiar.
