These are the HSM labels you're looking for (40s and 60s, respectively):

This, and ones like it, are from the 70s and later, and not great quality.

Vintage accessory?

There was that time I found this:

Inside this:

And then wrote a nice email to the Eisenhower Library asking for some information. The response I received was not at all helpful.

There is no obvious connection between your inaugural ticket and the book in which you found it. At most, one could speculate that they were owned by the same individual.

I regret to inform you that we have no way of determining which tickets were assigned to which individuals. Neither the inaugural committee records nor the papers of the RNC chairman contain any reference to that information that I can locate.

Yeah, dude, whatever.

Wow, who would have thought. Makes you wonder the back story of the brand, I've never seen it being anything more than Sears type stuff.
That's amazing. The brand probably dates from the 70s. Before that I believe it was exclusively couture.
I do not remember that it was ever considered a quality brand like Cardin and YSL were at their inception
around the same time. I guess I was wrong.. Not that I wouid have known, in those days I wore J Press, Chipp and Paul Stuart

Wow, that fabric on that Geoffrey Beene looks great just from the photos.

Here's a lovely summer raw silk tie; it explains itself.

It was weird, most of that (and a few more items not pictured) were from one store, and all were in the women's winter coat section.

That shawl coat is fantastic! It took a lot of restraint not to pm you about it when you posted it in the thrift thread. smile.gif
