I did a little search on the internet and found this quote from eHow.

Quote:
Claire Suddath of Time explains that fashion shows are an artistic endeavor, meaning that fashion designers try to use their fashions to convey a specific feeling or concept. However, the designers don't explicitly state the feeling or concept they are trying to get across. It is up to the guests of the fashion show to interpret the message behind the designs. This is one of the reasons why the clothing in fashion shows seems so extreme and exaggerated--the bolder the line, the clearer the concept. This is an important point because people should not make the mistake of thinking that the designers truly intend for people to wear the fashions exactly as they are presented in the show.

It's not permanent style, but then again, it wasn't meant for that. I'd wear that crap, but definitely not to work. And I definitely wouldn't spend the sort of money on it that it usually goes at.
And if I saw someone wearing it, I'd have a definite prejudice that he's an eccentric, and possibly an artist or designer.

No, It is not fashionable at all, to be fashionable it needs to be at least popular. Do you see anyone walking the streets in this sort of getup.

Is it stylish? No, I would use words like awkward, crass, ridiculous to describe it.

Would I bee seen in it, even dead, NO!!

No. Haute Couture are just concept. CONCEPT. Even some Ready-to-wear are not made to be worn all together. You can wear some of the pieces but, you will need to tone it down with "regular" pieces.

I like the Japanese Sushi Chef look on the 5th row lol

its magnificent n genius touch , the japanese silk used to make the kimonos can only be produced less than 10m long per day

It's not, if you consciously want to look like a rebel. Unless of course you're sitting in a boardroom, in which case I'd deem it bad, even if you happen to be an artist or designer.
