What's the B&S or eBay Retail Mark-Up on a Suit?

I've been buying off of the B&S for a while now, and I've noticed that a lot of members are selling NWT items that are clearly coming from stores or suppliers looking to offload merchandise that's sitting in a warehouse. You see the same thing on eBay. A lot of items are priced pretty close to retail with the option to make an offer. Sure, there's the stuff that's bought at Marshall's and then sold at a 50% mark-up. But I'm interested in the guy looking to move ten Brioni suits that've been sitting on the rack in his store for eight months.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience in bringing those goods to market, and can provide some guidance as to what a reasonable offer for those items might be. I know that any answer will be general, but surely someone has experience that they can share. For example, NWT Kiton suits probably aren't moving too well these days at $4,000+. Would a seller (or store owner) be into a suit for two grand? Is it possible to source them out at $1,000 or less? Attolini pops up on the B&S at around $2,000, but retails for $4,000+. Is there a pipeline of last season's Attolini suits going out to sellers at huge discounts?

Can any shop owners enlighten us?
