Yellow Hook Necktie Appreciation Thread - Page 16

Not to derail on this thread but as a Canadian who has to pay for international shipping I've never once wasted time debating a $20 shipping cost and there are other options as spoken above. These ties are not mass produced items as one would get at Drakes or a shop selling Zegna yet we all have dropped $100+ bucks on those many times. You will never see anyone in the office, city or country walking around with these on their neck. You are the only one and for that privilege the cost is far from prohibitive. Step up and pay the charge if you want the item, the seller is just a guy sitting around in his living room putting together some snazzy stuff for all of us to drool over.

Preaching to the choir, just bought 2 ties. I'm sure many more will come in the future if I like the ones I ordered.

Regarding International Shipping:

Styleforum has been such an inspiration and guiding force for me as a dresser, and now as a maker. I really could honestly say, without SF, and the people I've met through this place, I would never have even begun to think about this endeavor...so...if anyone here simply has our international shipping costs standing between them and wearing one of our ties, shoot me a pm, and I'd be happy to work something out. The only drawback to this, is because we produce so few, a tie might sell out before I get your message, but I'll work my hardest for you guys. I'm also happy to do pre-orders for you guys on any of the new stuff thats coming out. I anticipate 3-5 of each, so if SF guys want one, and can be patient (the process does take a few weeks) I'd be happy to offer that.

I'd also like to allow you guys the opportunity to grab some of our Hudson Collection Ties basically at cost. For those that don't know, the Hudson Collection was our experiment with factory made ties. They were made right here in NYC by our city's oldest tie manufacturer. These ties were made alongside brands like Thom Browne, JPress, JCrew and Ben Silver just to name a few, so you know you'd be getting a solid tie. It just wasn't us though, so we discontinued using them and selling them, but I still have a handful I'd be happy to offer to you guys at $40 shipped (only for SF members). Just shoot me a message and I can send you guys paypal invoices.
Warning: Spoken For! (Click to show)
Denim Chambray (1 available)
Rainbow Stripe Seersucker (2 available)

Rainbow Gingham Slubby Shantung (2 available)

In the meantime, here's another sneak peak at the fall...mini houndstooth in a luxurious wool/cashmere:

Think of it as the large houndstooth's understated little brother.

gentlemen, there is still plenty of summer left, go ahead and take the plunge with a YHN hudson collection tie! $40 is unbeatable value.

When I click the "Hudson collection" link (the one in the table to the right), I just get a page saying "No products found in this collection."

Damn, I just saw this...missed out on that denim chambray. The teaser for fall looks great tho, I'll need to keep a closer eye on this thread to catch the good stuff before they sell out.

This is correct. I own two myself and am a little sad to see the end of the collection. Maybe that Catania knit will cheer me up...

According to FB it's wool/cash.

Some really nice lightweight sharkskinny stuff, Late Summer Plum. This will be dropped shortly as the last part of our Indian Summer Collection.
