Yellow Hook Appreciation Thread - Page 67

^^^ This recent string of photos are all looking sharp.  Really thinking I need to pickup the woodhouse denim tweed and you put me down for interest in the scarves - hand rolled edges look awesome.

I was going back through some pictures and found this one that really shows off this tie well.  The shade of purple on this was exactly what we were looking for.

That looks just lovely!

We're getting a few one offs pretty soon boys, I'll post here before going on FB and the site, but they're some pretty neat pieces.

I'll see about the scarves as well. Have to figure our pricing, the sample took a TON of time (as you can imagine) and I want to make sure we compensate our ladies fairly.

This delicate green (the best way I think to describe it as a color) is made from teh same cashmere that the purple above was done in, and is a GREAT piece.

Perfect for the impending snowpocalypse.

In today's -21oC (-6oF) weather, I had to wear this woolly mammoth Holland&Sherry 1970s vintage :freeze:. A quintessential piece for anyone braving these conditions. This tie is so thick, I can't imagine it being made in more than 3-fold, but trust me, it feels like a 10-fold (if that actually exists). The texture (I took a close-up to detail the fibers) and colour (green, blue blended hues) are just stunning. Thanks again Rob! Another amazingly stunning craftsmanship by the YHN team. I'm very pleased indeed on how this turned out.

Last night's Zegna Cashmere-Silk Navy, Brown, Light Blue Stripe. Brown and blue works so well together - what a wonderful colour combination. Thanks Rob!

Willpower 0 - Yellowhook 2 - It reads like an English Premiere League score. (As does Grey Birdseye V Woodhouse Denim).

I've decided I'm going to keep riding the Yellowhook train until it disappoints me. So far, all have exceeded expectations and, if you are going to wear a tie, it may as well be a special one.

Thanks man, and nice choice on the Grey Birsdeye...great minds think alike.

Hope your commute was cleaner than mine.

Announcing the soft and fuzzy sale on social media tomorrow boys, and we're low on all of our cashmeres...

That is pretty funny. I appreciate that at Yellowhook every tie is test worn prior to shipping.

Out of curiosity I'm drinking a Murphy's Stout right now...

None of the ties we sell get "test worn". If there is a tie where only one is made to sell, the only thing we do is knot it once for photographs. But each tie we do sell passes through our hands to ensure its as perfect as I would expect as a customer.

Understood - I was joking of course.
