limited edition zegna fabric 90% vicuna 10% cashmere. so awesome. :)

What the hell! How did I miss that? Was that one only released to the cool kids or was I just not paying enough attention?

We only got enough for 3 units...one for me and we went through our customer list from day one. We will occasionally offer specials like this that we'll offer randomly. This one went out to our very first customers, Stitchy being our first, and ThinkDerm being our third (and first multiple tie order). I'd love to be able to offer stuff like this more often, but unfortunately vicuna is RIDICULOUSLY expensive (some goes for $1500 a yard) and we're not quite there yet. But...

...stay tuned here or on our facebook page, where we'll be announcing cool stuff that may be pretty limited. We do have a couple of GREAT cashmeres for winter that we will randomly offer it to past customers (for a lower price as well) before going live on our web site. Stay tuned Murlsuirl...one of these has your name all over it!

BTW, three new ties just dropped on our site:
@owljohn Houndstooth Scottish Tweed, a close relative of our Frightened Rabbit Scottish Tweed, a SUPER- super 120 Zegna Chocolate Brown Herringbone, and our Corcoran Six, in gorgeous English wool/cashmere. Check em all out here:

And as a heads up we have 1 Catania Knit, and 1 Italian Wool Tweed left. SF discount is $105 and $100 (from $124.99 and $119.99)

If your on the fence, stop procrastinating and pick up that Italian tweed before it is gone! It's such an awesome Fall tie.

I've been eying that Frightened Rabbit tweed and now there's this @owljohn one. That Zegna tie looks incredible too. Not sure if I want to get between in stitches and that one though... Looks like it's just his thing from what I know.

And while I'm more than fine with special makeups going out as NYI deems fit, seems as if there'd always be the preorder route for those expensive specialty fabrics. Yellow Hook x SF. Speaking for myself, Vicuña is conspicuous by its absence from my wardrobe. Of course, if it is $1,500 a yard, then there's a good reason for that. And, on second, I'd immediately get vinaigrette or coffee or something on that tie for sure.

I actually did the tuck-the-napkin-into-your-shirt-collar thing while eating lunch this weekend to protect my YH tie... :nodding:
