@Ianiceman sorry about that bud. I have a feeling there was a glitch on that particular tie.

I got your message yesterday, and had our girl look into it (we're at Disney with the kids) which is why I ddin't respond right away. She let us know that that particular tie wasn't available, sold out at retail as it was one of our more popular designs. We try to take off the site the ties that sell out but sometimes we may miss one.

What enables us to sell so low comparatively (Loro Piana fabric, complete hand make) is the fact that we get end bolts of fabric at great prices, so we pay a fraction of a price on the fabric, and then pass it on to you guys. The bad news is that we only can make a handful of each. It very fortunate if you can get a hold of our ties while they are marked down. Usually, the more popular ties sell out at full retail.

The other day, I wore a Yellow Hook Necktie. I took a picture of it. Now you are looking at it.

This is a Loro Piana wool/silk/linen blend tie from a few seasons back. Do not sleep on the current offerings. This tie is so great that my camera got all moire effect on it.

PS is Vanda, SC is LBM cotton-linen for Epaulet, shirt is Gitman for Epaulet

Does this brand make a nice, substantial knot with a four-in-hand? The pics posted here seem to intricate that it does, but some feedback would be appreciated before ordering.

Yes. It will vary depending upon the fabric, but the four in hand is the go to with YH. A beefier knot would be far too bulky I think.

@ericgereghty nailed it. Most of these offerings make very nice and substantial knots with a Four in Hand. Some of the thinner silks (Italian Hand Printed and Mustangs) may not, but all the rest will.

Feel free to PM me (or email for a faster response at yellowhookneckties@gmail.com) about any specific ties.
