Presumably a YH burgundy plaid?

If so, please post real life pics when you get the chance!

Yes. I just got the shipping confirmation so I expect it will arrive around Monday.

That burnt orange cashmere that was just added to the site is boss, Rob.  Very nice, as usual.

@RuleOfRescue and @ericgereghty its freaking incredible...we just sold half of the stock today since we posted it, I don't think it will last through the week, especially after we drop our big news here tomorrow morning. The Crepe is just fabulous, and unlike anything we've ever done before. It really reminds me a lot of vicuna with the suppleness it gives the fabric. Plus, it's WBill, so you know its quality.

One heading my way

I excitedly checked on the status of my YH package (brown Donegal), and, to my dismay, realized there had been no change since Saturday. At first I was pissed...then I realized it was Columbus (or whatever the PC term is nowadays) Day, and I got doubly pissed.

Not only do I have to wait an additional day for my tie (darn you USPS!), but I have yet another holiday in which I do not even sniff a day off...now I truly know what it is to have a case of the Mondays!

Let's just hope Harvey brings the ruckus tonight!

These are fantastic deals guys, all on firsts, not seconds. Overtime we get a batch of new ties in, I go through and pick out the ones I'd most like for myself. For those who follow us on instagram know, I've been in a bit of a different uniform lately at work due to increasing class sizes and cutting of funds (some classrooms don't have working ACs). As a result, I started stockpiling our stuff without ever really wearing them, so you guys can get some great ties at a fantastic price. And the best part? They're all one offs....no more of these bad boys are left in stock.

As far as the big news, stay tuned, I'll be ready to announce later this morning! But you'll want to know!

Here's our post from the the Trunk Show thread, if you haven't been over there yet, check it out!

For those of you who don't know about Yellow Hook, let me include a bit about our brand from one of our press release leading up to the show:

Yellow Hook is comprised of just my wife and I, and we search high and low to find exquisite fabrics (from tweed, and cashmere to some of the most beautiful silks) you won't see anywhere else to craft our ties entirely by hand from. We have also worked hard assembling a team of expert craftspersons who painstakingly craft each and every one of our ties by hand, all right here in the United States in the classic Neapolitan style. Our ties are very lightly structured and untipped and we like to let the cloths we use speak for themselves, much like a Neapolitan Sport Coat does the same. We're really excited to debut a slew of new ties we're holding back for The Proper Kit Trunk Show, and to get to see old friends and make new ones next month. We're also huge bourbon heads, and Courtney and I just recently purchased our second barrel of Four Roses Barrel Strength Bourbon this August in Cox Creek, Kentucky, and while we're not sure if that will be bottled in time, but we'll definitely have some of the first barrel on hand for sure to share, so be sure to stop by and say hi and have a pour.

You can check out what we're up to in our affiliate thread here:

OK boys...having internet issues at home, so have to post quickly at work. I'll post more details in the next couple of days, but we'll be unrolling a brand new pricing structure NEXT WEEK.

We've finally reached a point where we can focus on selling more ties at a better price (without sacrificing ANYTHING) than selling fewer goods at higher prices. As a Thank You to the Styleforum community, these new prices will ONLY be available through a code, "thankyousf" until next week when we go public and really ramp up our social media promoting them.

Ties that were formerly $150, will now be $110 and all other ties will be adjusted similarly. So for example, the $179.99 Cashmere Crepe we just launched, will be $129.99 etc.

This is a really big moment for us, and we're really proud that in less than three years we were able to get to this point. We're hoping the new pricing structure will help boost sales and fund some rally interesting projects moving forward. Thank you guys so much for all the support you've shown Courtney and I over the past three years, and we look forward to bringing you the best of what America has to offer in handcrafted neckwear and beyond in the years to come.

HAPPY SHOPPING!

If you guys have any questions, feel free to reach out through our SM or email us at yellowhookneckties@gmail.com or post right here in the thread.

It's official, I reached my upper threshold of tolerance for hearing the words "crepe." Consider the trigger pulled Rob...now the wait begins.

Should have 3 YH's (brown donegal, and crepe from Rob, blue donegal from Spoo's reedonkulous sale...though I'm still smarting over losing the cabernet cashmere lol), coming by end of week...Christmas done come early.
