Looks almost like a burnt orange in artificial light, but comes through as a super low key red (think freshly drawn blood before it congeals) in natural light.

Another winner.

Please post, I'd like to see it in action. The windowpanes (light blue and purple) have been my go to over the past couple of weeks.

I'm definitely not in a locale where a tie is considered "normal" at the moment, but I'll knot it up and snap a pic for reference.

I'd direct the same request to you for the light/royal blue. I'm definitely bummed I let that one get away.

From the past. Love this one - purple/navy silk.

A few of you guys seem to have quite the collections.  Post them up when you get a chance, would love to see.

Hey gents @ericgereghty  @YellowHookTies - picked up the purple windowpane cash tie on-sale.  Beautiful tie, Rob (as always)! I need some guidance on pairing it tho - as of now I can't see if working with anything but a solid color shirt, e.g. white or pale blue.  Any thoughts or photos of pairing the windowpane cash tie with stripped or other patterned shirts? Thx for the input.

Light Blue fine stripe or micro check would be fine.  More so depends what jacket is going over top IMO.

But white, light blue, light mauve.  If the jacket is a solid I'd even go for a bolder stripe.  But in a muted shade, let that purple steal the show.  And likely forego the pocket square, or just plain linen.

Thx CC - appreciate the input.  :thumbs-up:

As long as the stripe or pattern is small in scale, you'll be golden. You want to try and keep pattern size different, will make both the shirt AND TIE pop.

I agree with the above. I think most of the usual suspects in regards to color would
Shut the tie quite nicely. If you're going pattern, my advice would be utilize any of the similar colors mentioned above, provided that the stripe or pattern is relatively muted.

Note: feel free to disregard my advice
Regarding shirts. I am a terribly conservative dresser that would be 100% content with nothing but white shirts and the occasional blue or super light pink...so I am definitely not the best judge lol

Here's a snap of the red windowpane. I will be sure to actually wear it next time around, but this should give fairly good perspective.

An absolute winner to be sure.

@ericgereghty  @YellowHookTies - Thanks fellas.  I think the stripes on the shirt I'm wearing today are too wide and didn't sit right with the purple cash this AM (went with the red unfinished silk from earlier this summer instead).  Will try with more subtle stripes or solids as suggested.

Lovely! The gingham wrap is awesome too and so are Rob's and Courtney's notes. Such a nice, warmhearted family. Hope one day I can meet up with them in NY.

I agree too. A faint pinstripe would work beautifully. I'm quite conservative too but am starting to experiment by seeing what others are wearing on this forum (see my next post, what do you think of the shirt/tie paring?)

Big Gingham tie with small gingham shirt. The lighting is completely off with a yellowish tint. But in natural light, the light blue of the tie matches exactly with the light blue on the shirt. The tie is a lot more vivid in natural light.

I saw the email pop-up and was set to delete it without opening it because the last thing I need in my closet is more ties, but I stupidly opened the email... and now I'll be opening my wallet.

There are some seriously awesome ties in the fall batch. Now comes the hard part of narrowing down my choices...
