need some outfit suggestions for some wine colored chinos

Good afternoon fells,
Last night I was christmas shopping for my friends daughter at target last night and meandered through the mens section. they had tailored fit chinos on sale for 13.00 so i bought a pair in a dark wine color. Can you guys post some suggestions on what to wear with there hopefully with some pics of it being pulled of successfully. Thank you gentlemen in advance!

i find that burgundy/wine pairs beautifully with almost any color, as long as you stick within the darker color spectrum (i.e. don't go pairing pastels or canary yellow with the pants). something like this perhaps? http://tsbmen.com/9252/1-piece3-ways-the-burgundy-suit/3/

Bright colors are much riskier than light colors, because they can compete with the burgundy/wine. The kind of modern plaid in the picture above likely is the most easily compatible style out there, albeit the purple in the plaid is rather matchy-matchy. Also depicted on that blog is the combination of a dark-colored odd jacket with light-colored shirt, which works well.
