So if March 10th is the date for the new limit custom duties are going to go in effect, how sure are we going to be about FedEx and UPS actually will abide by it? They don't seem to be the must trust worthy companies.

I don't think it would effect courier fee's, only customs fee's. If FedEx or UPS deliver a foreign package to you I think you will probably still get charged whatever their flat rate courier fee is, just not the customs portion of it. I could be wrong though.

What's the flat rate fee? I've been trying to search for it, but everything comes up empty. It's like they don't want to tell people who much it's going to cost to get something imported.

Never mind I think I found it.

It looks like they'll still charge a 2% fee. But the Clearance Entry Fee will be rised up to $800, if i'm assuming that's correct.

What does this mean?

Their flat fee is charged regardless of item value, but you only pay tariff % on item if the total value is above $800, as opposed to $200. Very exiting news.

who is ready to test it out? unless you expect to get something tomorrow, it might be safe to order now and receive on the 10th at the earliest.

Will do on the 10th. Either from Japan or UK........................

I know it's been discussed but didn't see a definitive answer.  I'm sitting on a Fedex bill for items purchased from End.  I returned the items.  How do I best handle getting these charges removed?  I've found Fedex useless but it also sounds like it's not their call.

FedEx, you where invoiced by them not END.

Had something similar 3/4 yrs ago...was easy as I recall. Not sure who the carrier (probably fedex) was but was done with just a phone call. She just negated the charges.

You have not paid yet and have the paperwork for the return ?

Yes to all questions.  I'll try Fedex tomorrow.  I haven't had the best experiences with their customer service but hopefully this time is different.  Thanks.
