You will pay return and stocking fees.

I really don't get why people expect marked down forms and no handling fees. I mean sure that's great if shops will accommodate that, but I always approach buying from abroad with the expectation of customs and handling fees.

If you refuse, won't they blacklist you? Also the fees usually come weeks after in the mail.

Not just that, the ones that ask about fees and taxes AFTER they order.

My Esk knit seems to be hung up in customs for a while. It was sent DHL Economy from Germany, which had me worried. But, it looks like they are transferring it to the USPS, which hopefully means less likelihood of duties.

If I order something from Unionmade from Canada should I expect a customs fee?

Just got hit with customs duties from Sneakerboy to the states, I thought taxes were included.
Anyone else got hit?

I did. $380 order. $60 dollars in duties/handling fees.

Hope this is the correct thread and that someone can help. Placed an order a while ago from NOMAD. They shipped  the item and the mail indicated as being delivered, however this never happened.

Have any of you dealt with this kinda of case? Nomad seems to be pretty new to this as well, and just said I should try contacting the USPS (they shipped from canada) and basically cant do anything since its marked as delivered. Looking up at the internet, I got very confused about claims, insuring, rights etc.

Any help?

You should be fine.  DHL from Germany turns into USPS parcel post once it hits the states.

I contacted both TNT and sb, TNT told me to not worry about the invoice sender will pay. SB was very nice and told me to send a copy of the bill so they can investigate, but I just told them TNT said its fine and thanked them for their promptness.

Anyone in the US order from Colette before? Which shipping service did they use and did you get hit with customs?

Just received a customer return today, they marked it as $200 so I was charged almost £40 customs fees.

I am thinking to take the amount I was charged for customs off the return amount.

Opinions please!

Aren't you supposed to have them mark "returns" on it so you avoid customs? I know END does this in order to avoid getting hit by import charges.
