Anyone from Canada order from The Bureau? Specifically shoes.....I need me some Aldens but I don't wanna pay a grand for them.

The Bureau Belfast right? I ordered a small accessory last winter ~$125. It shipped via FedEx and I paid fees of ~$45 irrc. (To top it off, TBB shipped the wrong item and I had to send it back).

How do fees work when ordering a "made in the US" item from Canada and having it shipped back into the US? No customs but possibly brokerage?

Le Rayon Frais stuff came today. They mark down the value (by half I think), and ship with EMS = near zero chance of customs.

Took 1 week to ship (6 business days), which isn't too bad either. Now if they can work on fast refund and transparency.. (a Nanamica jacket

I bought took 3 days to be notified as 'lol someone else at the store bought it. sry')

i ordered from them too, like 4 weeks ago, and the tracking # they gave me on colissimo.fr says

6/16 "Your parcel is held by our services. We are waiting for its customs clearance."
6/24 "Your parcel has arrived at its delivery location."
6/24 "Your parcel is ready for delivery."

I assumed this meant USPS has picked it up but they cant find it.

anybody know how long should i wait before i claim item not received with paypal?

Regarding Haven, I don't recall if they mark down the item, but I never got hit with customs here in the US. Good communication with them and a seamless transaction.

All imported goods, which are priced ~$34 or higher, will get hit with customs here in Norway. Therefore I need to use a proxy or ask them to mark down if I want to buy things from overseas

Edit: Does anyone know the customs policy in the UK?

I forget the exact amounts but you get up to approximately £20 before any duties or tax are applied. If its marked as a gift, a wee bit more. Possibly £36 but I'd have to double check.

Anyone know if context are import friendly to the UK?

the UK has exactly the same amount as Norway. Too bad. But if you mark it as gift the limit increases to ~£100.

Does anyone know if Frans Boone marks down the value?

I'm in Vancouver for 3 months and decided to take advantage of getting VAT off a Montedoro jacket from Kafka.co.uk. The jacket cost £180 and was shipped by FedEx, it got here in 3 days but I was hit with a charge of $113.

Anyone know if Opumo charges customs to US? I am assuming that they do, but you never know if all of their disclaimer stuff about customs is just CYA. This bag is great, but would be a stretch right now even without import fees
